Through the freezing cold- I go hard like 2 G's of old/ I'll proceed being bold 'til I've seized the gold/ or God retrieves my soul, and the agreement hold/ until I've achieved my goal, I won't concede or fold/ I won't break or buckle, not afraid of a struggle/ I won't stray from the fray till I got blood on my knuckles/ like Yeah, I done been in the drama too/ but I keep plodding through, I don't fear it cause my spirit's indomitable/ the fact that you refuse to share my views is comical/ if you can't accept the truth, how could I bond with you?/ cowardice ain't a trait, in which I associate/ that'll leave your growth rate in a frozen state/ life was heavy on my shoulders, but I rose with the weight/ in other words, what occurred is I chose to great/ and that's much to the chagrin of so called friends and kin/ but now there's only one I can trust in the end/
You see, I've grown so much, up here- in HIGH ORBIT/ I've learned it's better to die- then to not try or forfeit/ it sounds morbid- but that part is unimportant/ you see what you want, you gotta march toward it/
Now, I can welcome you with open arms and salutations/ but I don't need your approval or your validation/ your evaluation of the situation isn't needed/ but I reserve the right to treat it, as I see fit/ no doubt you formed opinions about what I do/ the downside is you're seeing through a limited view/ I'm not as timid as you, I'm not frightened, I'm courageous/ I reflect it wit my writing and reciting off the pages/ I'm going overboard, there's no reward for mediocrity/ no benefits that I can see/ the sideline is not for me/ climbing constantly, but my friends started thinning then/ cuz I'm determined to grind for more than bare minimum/ now I march ahead, regardless of all the strain/ I won't let the hardships I endured be in vain/ at the end of your days, when lights dim and voices fade/ I wonder- if you'll rejoice with the choices you've made?/
